Sweeps

I've been trying to learn how to sweet pick recently and i was wondering if anyone knew some of the easier sweeps that would be good to start practicing. Please help. Thanks

just work on 3 string major and minor arps for now, get the feel of them... then move on to 4 and 5 strings, its a slow progression.

Try the sweeps that Petrucci explains on his "Rock Discipline" DVD.

Those are easy and mighty impressive to even experienced guitar players.

Seriously though, what Elysian and Wings of a dream said. Also, start slowly and keep it clean and clear sounding at all times.
