For all you people who have or have played an RR, RV, SV or whatever, any V:
How easy is it to play the 19-24th frets?
Looking at Alexi play, it looks like he's having trouble with 3 fingers, I like to use my pinky most of the time so would the position of the joint be a problem?

I can't speak about other V's but my bastard V's fret access is fucking awesome, I can play anywhere on the neck no problem

she's a beast to say the least and I have a 7 string version on the way (too bad its going to be about 3 years from now with the wait list...)

It looks like it joins a bit lower than Alexi's and other guitars that are similar, is it or does it just look like it 'cause it's far away?

my Rhoads only has 22 frets, but they are very easy to access... and even if the 24 fret Rhoads V's had the 22nd fret at the same exact spot, 24 would still be easy to hit...

we have different playing styles for sure then, I have to have 2-3 pickups, also
for going to roberto-venn, I may have to have you do some work for me in the future then

yeah, i quite agree. It looks gay with the maple or whatever they call it. All my basses have an ebony fretboard, so this would stand out like a pimple on a pigs arse. Its got some nice pickups, I have no idea what the extra 2 contols do though. Im used to having three knobs.

i program all my tones around 1 pickup lol... i don't need a neck pickup, as i can get a killer clean tone from the bridge, great lead tone, and brutal rhythm tone... i've just never made it a habit to use the neck pickup much...goth_fiend said:we have different playing styles for sure then, I have to have 2-3 pickups, also
