Im at the end of a mix for my symphonic Death project, and am making minor changes. The strings keep getting buried and I am worried about the low end. I want the low end to be exciting, but not a droned-rumble that is fatiguing, especially with the faster parts. Any comments, on low end or as a whole?

Dude! This is fucking good. First off this song is fucking sick!

The kick lacks low end and is a little too clicky in my opinion. The drums lack stereo depth and width. If you have facebook, add me and we could chat some more! Jeremy Vocino-Montpetit is my name!

Thanks for the compliment. I actually squeezed the stereo image a little on the drums, and pulled the room mics out to keep the drums from taking up too much of the orchestral real estate. I will look at the stereo imaging a little more. Thanks for the feedback.
