I just can't justify spending that kind of cash on a tab book.

Those look really cool, but not $81 cool.

I wonder if they were made in Japan. I have the full score book, and it has errors galore.

You said its full of errors, I take it there not Hal Leonard publications, which tend to be really good. (I've only noticed a few small errors in all my Yngwie, Vai, and DT books)

Nope. It's some Japanese publisher called Shinko. There's errors on all instruments (Through The Looking Glass is particularly bad).
