Synth strings?

Yea, no problem. I have one of the low-end Hollywood Strings packs form Eastwest (they can get really pricey) and it's the best I've heard.
It's also one of the most popular.
Anything form EastWest is guaranteed to be top of the line though.

Sorry to go "Old School", but I use keyboard modules for my mixes. May try soft synths some day
I Use.....

Korg 05Rw
Roland JV1010

Philarmonik from IK multimedia sounds reaaally good too !

That's what i've been using to program the strings, choirs , brass etc. for my band (Betraying the Martyrs) 's upcoming album and I'm pretty glad of the result !

As for synths, it really depends on the sound you're looking for, there are so many..... I Sculpture (in logic pro) quite a lot, it's got nice possibilities :)

Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra is absolutely amazing, I'm only using the Free version but I can't wait getting the Gold one !

(Salut Lucas, c'est marrant de te voir ici, je voulais juste te dire que j'adore BTM, vivement l'album et un passage à Lyon :) )
