Synthesizers

Im a guitarplayer/drummer mostly, but i used to be a reasonable keyboardist (or whatever its called). I sold my keyboard a long time ago though.

Now that my little project(s) are getting serious, ill need a synthesizer/keyboard. For my songs i need:
-Piano
-Orchestral'ish stuff
-Just mainly the melo-BM stuff, think of dimmu etc
-everything a keyboard can

Any recommendations? Also, i dont have a bill gates-budget.

This may not be the best idea if you play live shows, although I've seen bands use laptops before but, I just got Moog Modular V for my band and my friend/college has been doing something pretty good things with it and he seems to be pretty happy with the program.

Thanks, i checked it out, and ill try it out soon! Though eventually i think i will need the "real" thing.
