Synths

Those big bands have them all the time, and now unfortunately my band wants to add them.

What do you guys use for synths(such as the ones in this)

And if anyone knows how those were made, I'd love a small know how. I got bitcrusher and gater and whatnot, I'm just looking for a place to start.

I really like Vanguard and it has some nice presets especially for gated synth sounds. Their are a lot of strings and harp in this though, i use Miroslav Philharmonik for that.

For this song i remember Corey said he used Xpand!2 only wich is a synth that comes with Pro Tools, so if you aren't using pro tools i guess you have to look somewhere else, Omnisphere is a good synth with a lot of different sounds and presets.

+1 to Xpand!2, Omnisphere and Miroslav Philharmonik, all great programs in their own right. Some DAWs like Logic have neat programs to help build your own synths.
