there's a lot of differences... check the program and some tabs and you'll see.

Although I've found I'm using the program more to write my own midi files...

I have always used http://www.powertabs.net for the power tab archive... it has a nicer interface...

I love powertabs, but EVERY SINGLE SyX powertab I have ever seen is horrible. The music may be right, but the way it says to play it is totally wrong. I just usually compare the tabs on this site, and the powertabs and find out which way is correct.
