I thought the whole point of it, from an interview with singing man, was that they feel that in the future all music will be released free via the internet. And Gamabomb want to be the first band to do it and lead the way sort of thing.

The aim of Earache Records and Gama Bomb is to grow their fanbase and promote the sales of the CD version, which will be released in February 2010, as well as concert ticket sales through the more widespread distribution of the music.

wikipedia'd i think its a good idea. I will eventually buy all the music i have dl'd and it also says people who have heard it free and enjoyed it would have more of an insentive to go to a show or buy a t shirt or something.
