The Stormrider's Pooch
He said that? Well, it wasn't exactly her choice to go it alone, unless he meant her failing to join another band.

From what I've heard of both albums, I find that statement extremely laughable.I heard someone at the Epica show in NYC saying they were sent an advanced copy of her CD and that it was even better than the new Nightwish.

If this is the level of all the songs, than I really don't know how someone could make that statement. I was so bored listening to it. It was just a very uninspiring song with no real emotion despite what the subject matter could have been (and most likely is) pertaining to.

Hiya, Jibrille. Welcome to OSA!
I find that statement laughable as well. Tarja can't write. And, this sounds like watered-down To-Mera. That person was obviously a Tarja fan.
Personally, I'd say that is unfair to To-Mera.
I'm surprised I didn't head over sooner but I didn't realize OSA had moved here. I had signed up to the OSA forums like 2 years ago before going inactive fast (I'm a bit ADD with forums if I need separate accounts).
Whatcha talking about Willls?

Yeah, Tel. As much as I loved Tarja's technique....she could sometimes leave something to be desired in expressiveness.
Comparing it to HIM works for me heh.
The music was kinda bland, but listening to I Walk Alone made me REALLY REALLY miss her. She has such depth and warmth to her voice that were a great solid foundation to be in the midst of metal with. She also sings a lot of the song rather softly and I wish we'd heard more of that on Nightwish songs--this impressed me, I didn't think she had it in her.
The video is terrifying though. Oh man. Whoever did her makeup must HATE her.:zombie::zombie::zombie:
As for the makeup, that one blond mannequin thing, or whatever she was supposed to be, is going to live on in all visions of horror for a long time to come
