Tascam 1641

I was thinking about the getting Tascam 1641 solely for triggering, as it has 16 outs and is only $299. Anyone have any experience with this and know whether it's decent or not?
I mean I won't need a lot out of it, just clean trigger signals.

It only has 4 outs.

It's usb though, so i'm pretty iffy about it handling that many.

Well if you are going to be using it for triggering, are you planning on having another interface running at the same time? I could see you running into problems there

Some local guy is selling his for 220$ CAN. I think it's a pretty good deal, I'll probably pick it up next week.
