Tate's Farewell Tour?

I never believe farewell tours. They never stick, and Tate will milk every last dollar out of the Queensryche name that he can. Maybe it will be goodbye Queensryche featuring Geoff Tate and hello Geoff Tate, the voice of Queensryche.

"This is your last chance to hear all the hit songs performed by the man who made them famous!"

You'd have to be dumber than owl shit to believe this nonsense. He's like that turd that won't flush that needs the toilet brush treatment. God, I pratically worshipped the man's vocals and now he's just an annoying, hollow husk of a performer.

The guy destroyed his credibility. He should go to Vegas and start doing shows at 3rd rate casinos.

Someone's not eating enough fiber, methinks.

I've been laughing at this comment since you posted it. It's so very accurate.

I might actually consider going to see this tour...

But only if Tate will sign a legally-binding guarantee that this IS his farewell, and that after this tour (with a definite end date not more than 1 year away), he truly will GO AWAY.

He was once one of my favorite vocalists (and I still very much enjoy the early QR), but at this point, he just sickens me as a human being (*and* as a "musician", actually).
