If I were you I would get an API and a Neve style - both flavors, see which works best, unload one if it doesn't work out.

I'll get APIs later. I want the Neve sound on my guitars- supposedly their N72 module is even better than the original Neve, which is very possible. It definitely is a bit brighter and less muddy, which are two great things to me!
