So uhh... yeah here's my attempt. I'm not too happy with the clean vocals, because I made the mistake of recording the clean vocals AFTER the screaming parts... my throat was hurting already by then.

But let me know what you think haha.

Oh and here are the lyrics. I know it sounds kinda dumb... but I was playing a game called Fallout 3, there is an expansion pack to the game called "Mothership Zeta" which is about a huge UFO planning to destroy earth. So... yeah.

I used the Avatar Kit of Superior Drummer 2.0
I blended the original snare with a sample NSGuitar postet a while back.
It's a fucking awesome sample!!
The processing is quite simple.
Some EQ and reverb!

Can you describe the method of blending the snare? I downloaded NSGUITARS zip files. It has 4 wavs. How can i use them? With drumagog? If yes how?
I know it sounds funny but with drumagog i only know how to use its library, I dont know how to create new samples

I replace the drumsamples with aptrigga.
Just load in the .wav files and BAM
I works quite well.

So the snare is the original avatar snare blended with the snare from NSGUITAR.

Some sad news. I kinda have this throat infection and it's swollen now (probably due to the fact that I was gigging and partying too hard last weekend, then proceeded to record aix's song without any rest)... so I'm going to need some vocal rest for a few days.

Which means, no vocal stems yet, as I really really really need to fix some of the performances (I'm really unhappy with them).

Give me a couple of days. Sorry.

For the guitars i used onqels new ampsim x50.
This ampsim is so fuckin' awesome!!!
I used two impulses (asem/s-preshigh)
Eq: Hi/lo pass, some cuts at 200, 400, 700 and 4000 Hz.

around how many Db did you make those cuts around?
i know there 4 k sound around about 4-5 db.
i really like the tone for metalcore stuff, its not really what im into but i do enjoy the tone for this style.

Around 2 to 4 Db. But this really depends on the source and the sound you're looking for.
The tone is muddy? Cut 200 Hz
The tone is fizzy? Cut 4000 Hz.

Hey Nash, I liked the page.

The songs sound cool, but I do have to say that I like the old version of OMG It's Mothership Zeta better. The original cleans and harmony in the chorus just sounded so awesome. I still have that version somewhere. They are both cool though
