This is my most recent work. So far I'm really happy with it except I can't seem to get the Snare and Toms to have enough presence in the mix when the vocals are on top of them. I'm at a loss. Maybe you guys can help? :D

Sup man, rad song! IMO, i think the kick could use more of a attack sound, its very drowned out atm. An maybe try i little boost at around 8K through a SSL E-channel for the guitars for some more presence.

Rock on man

It's better but still too much going on in the upper freqs. If you go to 3:20 and listen to those breathes you can tell right away it's got too much exciter or something on it. Or maybe it's just really heavy comp'd and you need to de-ess. And at 2:20 you can hear it really well in the guitars in the center of the sound image. Sounds like you're using the 57 on the guitars. Do you have 3 guitars on the rhythm? Left, center and right? If so, try taking out the center and leaving just Left & Right. Also at 3:13 i'd fix that edit on the vox. All the high freq being mushed up is making you lose the attack on the kick and toms. That's prob why you're wanting to raise the fader.

This song is really cool man. Good job.

well, I have the bass in the center, Two rhythm's panned hard left and right and two leads paned about half left and half right. I know the vocals are kinda messed up. I'm still trying to work on a good vocal sound. I used Lecto and a Soldano U67 Impulse on the guitars
