Just wondering if any of you techies know the difference between the streaming mechanism used by MySpace vs the streaming mechanism used by Facebook "My Band" or other apps. The main thing is why I can't listen to the MySpace audio players at my workplace, but I can listen to audio players through Facebook. I gather that there's firewalls and such but I was wondering if that would simply be the reason. I can still access everything else in MySpace, but can't get the audio files to play. That's really frustrating when there's so many new bands I could be listening to but can't.
On a side note, I wish bands that publish clips on MySpace also published (at least) the same clips on their own main website via some kind of simple free streaming player. They are certainly simple to implement...
