I always go into Europe every year for the festival scene, there are no metal festivals in the UK (Brownload is a joke and Bloodstock this year was ridiculously mid week, as cool as Euro fest are Graspop, Wacken, Earthshaker etc... I am always forced to sit through JBO, Children of Boredom, Ektomorf (The worst Robb Flynn clone i have ever seen), Subway to Sally, etc etc.. Can anyone think of any more? They always seem to pop up at every festival....

Slayer, obviously. It's a legal requirement for every European festival to have fans going apeshit over the likes of Post Mortem while applauding politely for the likes of "Bloodlines".

Arch Enemy seem pretty ubiquitous these days too, though I have to say that they did kick some major league arse at Bloodstock.

I've never been to a European festival, but from my experience of seeing Ozzfest twice, I've gotta give "props" to:

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY

Hon. mentions:
Mudvayne
Hatebreed

The devil wear prada... after goatwhore. Ridiculous.

The number twelve looks like you. I saw some headbangers giving them the finger.

Keyboard players are not aloud to pose and headbang.
