How many RCers have you met in person? Can we get a rundown of what RCers are like IRL then vs. online persona? I was surprised when you described yourself as introverted a while back Jerry, but then maybe American introvert is different to everywhere else introvert.

Only ever met Andrew, Maren and Brandon. All of them decent folk that didn't strike me as fundamentally different from their online persona. Good times were had. As for me, I've been known to gleefully keep to myself IRL, not so much out of shyness, I just generally prefer not to draw too much attention to myself in a multi-way conversation.
Nah im not introverted, I just choose to not socialize until forced. Introverted in the sense, "hey theres a party this Sat, ye want to roll?" Nah, Im good. If ye convince me to attend i'll prattle on like I do here. Always been extrrmely socialable without seeking it.

Everyone is cool, but by and large FAR quieter than their online persona. Id self eval myself as exactly as I am on this forum as I am irl. If anything im more reserved on this forum. (Dont want be banned or drive more people away with my ramblings.)

I've only met Nate the Great. We met up at a show in Denver. I had a couple of my friends with me and he was alone. We were both pretty quiet. I think we parted after the show so it's not like there was much opportunity to socialize.
In general, it takes me awhile to warm up to people and start goofing around (which is probably what was going on with most of the folks who don't seem the same in real life). I'm both naturally introverted and generally don't care about 90% of what people usually decide to talk about (so I'm generally considered "quiet.") I'm much more outgoing than I once was, both because I forced myself to be so that I could meet women when I went to college and because I became a teacher later on and got used to public speaking and making jokes, and generally conversing with a lot people I barely knew.
