Tell me something about ALARM magazine.

I know they have a web site and have a print version, but that's the extent of my info on them.

hey Toby..believe it or not but i'm actually interviewing you guys as well for Alarm with Emily who is the woman from the magazine who wanted to interview the band. pretty crazy. i can now redeem myself from all the immature questions i asked you and Greg 2 years ago for defenestrated.

haha, no, there will definitely be some questions like that. what i actually meant was ignorant not immature hah, like for example i stated to Toby two years ago that a lot of the songs on Bath/LYBM where there are woodwinds/brass playing along side distorted metal guitar and growls sound like two songs playing simultanenously which i heavily regretted saying. also i said there were jazz influences in Kayo Dot/motW which i've come to realize isn't true at all.

welll i just mean that there's so many people who say something that turns out to be not quite right, but then are afraid to say "i was wrong about that". probably because they don't want to open themselves up to criticism from people who are like "GNAGH YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT THAT ONE BAND SIX YEARS AGO AND YOU ADMITTED IT WHY SHOULD WE VALUE YOUR OPINION AT ALL NOW".

yeah youre right about that. still i dont quite trust journalists, especially online journalists, and especially especially online metal journalists.
