Terratec Phase 22 question

anyone also have this card ? a question.
i have speakers connected to it and my guitar also.
but when in windows i can: or only hear the music, or only here my guitar ( THE INPUT ).

is there a way i can here both at the same time in windows ?
in nuendo everything works fine. just wondering if i was possible to hear the music andmy guitar both in windows.

I have Terratec EWX 24/96 , older card but similar to phase 22, 2 ins 2 outs, digital in and out. I am not sure what is really your problem?
All settings of this card are accessed with its dedicated mixer and it is dead simple. Only reason I could think of for not hearing anything while in windows is that probably inputs are muted in its mixer/control panel. In Nuendo you can still hear guitar because when monitoring is enabled on track, Nuendo is directly accesing input of card thru ASIO driver, but in windows if input is muted in control panel of card, you won't hear your guitar. Have in mind that you will have to mute input again when recording in Nuendo or else you will hear guitar doubled, live input and monitored sound. Do not use windows audio mixer for card settings.
