Terrified of flying, yet I have a plane to take in 5 days...

I'm on my third aircraft now, will be moving back to my second as an instructor come the fall.

All pictures taken by me or my bros except "the office" shot. Been in that sightpicture many times, never had a camera to capture it though.

A movie made by a dude that came before me. Skip to 1:20 if you just want to see "the goods"

Damn Max, what a career. You pilot types always come along and make me regret my choice to go audio over airforce. Great stuff, and all power to you, I'm sure you're doing your country proud and all that :)

you're flying to france? You'll be wishing that plane had hit water!

I just understood your messages.

Until now, airspace has been shut down in UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. It hasn't touched the continental europe yet. I've flown today in france without even being noticed it in my france chart.

The cucumbers below the wings are real or just some inofenssive paintball missiles?

These look like fuel tanks to me.

There are 2 AA missiles (looking like sidewinders) just next to them too.

If they were paintball missiles, I wouldn't like to be the paintball player right under the attack

Yea, fuel tanks are the big guys. On the left wing(to the right) there is an Aim-9 and on the right wing is training munition i.e. no go boom. It's really only there for airstream and what not to my understanding.

Both pics of the 15's are actually C models(single seat) vs the E i.e. Strike Eagle(two seat)
