What don't you like 'The New Order'. Along with 'Practice What You Preach' and 'The Gathering' I think it is one of the best, if not the best Testament album. Some killer fucking tracks such as 'Eerie Inhabitants', 'Disciples Of The Watch', 'Into The Pit', 'The Preacher', 'The New Order' & 'Trial By Fire', a killer Aerosmith cover plus the goddam awesome instrument 'A Dirge'.

I think it's decent, but not great. The songwriting meanders far too much, with pointless intros and interludes scattered all over the place, and the drumming sucks. The rerecordings on First Strike Still Deadly bring out the full potential of the songs, particularly "Disciples of the Watch"–with that useless fucking intro chopped off, it's easily the best thing Testament ever did.

the legacy,the new order,practise what you preach,the gathering,and live at eindhoven are the ones i rate the most-great band,one of the best live bands i've ever seen.

you gotta have something by them in your collection!!!!
