Testing my settings (looking for a sound between Avenged Sevenfold and ABR)

just recorded a simple riff with bass and a drum part to test my sounds for an EP I'm writing. wanna know what you guys think is working, and what could be improved. Let me know :]

hmmm, probably is, my speakers are fine but they don't have as much bass as I would like so i probably over compensated on the bass frequencies

Yeah way too much bass. I can't even give you an accurate opinion on the guitars because the bass is so loud. It's clouding the guitars up. Bring that bass down and repost it. Until then I've got nothing.
