im new to this forum, and im trying to kick start my recording gig a little. my main focus right now is looking for a nice, heavy guitar tone. i suppose along the lines of Oceano, Structures, etc. here is a half-assed August Burns Red cover i made earlier today:

i havent recorded a bass track or mastered anything yet. this recording is solely for trying to find better sounds for the guitar, and ABR songs tend to utilize lots of drums, as i am also testing out drum samples. i plug the guitar into a floor pod that goes to the line in because i dont have any other interfaces or anything.
ALL CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM TOWARDS GUITAR AND DRUMS ARE WELCOME.
like i said, im new to some of this, and im in the process of working on an EP for my band and i want it to sound as professional as possible, of course. so please, help me out!
