Testing new guitar sound...Decapitated LAYING AND WEAK !!!

I've just recorded a short sample of Decapitated's "Laying and weak" song to test new guitar settings.
Tell me how do you like guitar sound, drums, mix, ''mastering''. Is it listenable?

Sounds pretty good to me...maybe a bit too messy and not as defined. Not sure if it is because it might be tuned lower than the original?

Either way, still good stuff I think.

Yes I tune a little bit lower than the original (B), but it's true that guitars are not tight enough, Vogg is just too good to cover for me

The mix isn't really working for me. I don't mind the messiness of the guitars, but then I think you need a killer clangy bass and more raw or roomy drums. Atm you've got this like quite soft bass, thats also kinda messy, and a bit overcompressed drums with really messy guitars.

The drums and cymbals are Slate yeh? I recognise that right hand crash straight away, and the rest is kinda Slatey. If you want to go the 'messy' route I don't think Slate is going to cut it, its just to hifi. You might be able to get something by processing the Led Zep kit.
