Its a really cool album, but don't expect it to be a progressive shred fest...its a traditional metal album in the style of old Rainbow, old Rising Force, etc. I happen to love that stuff so I think its really awsome.

I thought it was pretty average considering the talent playing on it. Goran Edman sounds like he's not putting 100% in the vocal dept and apart from 1 or 2 songs they sound like the songs Yngwie might reject.

It's got some cool stuff on it, but just know going into it that it is a Johanson cd first with some additional musicians. MJR is not shredding all over this cd. He contributes solid bass and rhythm guitar with occasion lead work. Guitar is not the primary focus.

Heavy Machinery is the best cd the Johannson bros have recorded.

"Heavy Machinery" and "The Last Viking" are two best album from Johansson bro. Maybe "The Last Viking" is better because Romeo plays in it.

I love it. It's a really great album. If you're into keys then it's a Johansson album you know, a must-have....
Maybe you also have to like power symphonic stuff...but being member of these forums, i assume that's done deal LoL
On a short notice... I think that's the best drum parts of Anders Johansson ever on this disc (for what concerns metal of course)

I think music's not the olympic games... People should respect every musician for the simple fact that they have their "OWN" voice, and not behave like this "x is best than y". It's not the same music either that they play i think...
