THABU from Argentina signed an deal with PURE PROG RECORDS, an sublabel of PURE STEEL RECORDS for Europe, North America and Japan. The band play fantastic Progressive Metal in style of ARK / OUTWORLD and SYMPHONY X.... We are very proud and happy about this signing – it´s the next high-end release on Pure Prog Records.
The second album “Reborn” will be released officially in the contract area in November 2012.
The band states:
“We are glad to announce that we have signed with PURE PROG RECORDS/Pure Steel Records. It’s a great honor for us to be part of their roster.”

Metal from Argentina? Yes, sure: Insiders can probably think of some names of South American bands. But: Progressive Metal from Argentina? Nada, nothing.

So it’s about time to change this situation. And it will change, because THABU is not only a Progressive Metal band; the four guys from Buenos Aires really live this kind of music, so that they will certainly be able to compete with bands from all over the world.
The band’s second album “Reborn” offers you powerful progressive metal, which is made distinctive by their multi-faceted music as well as James Robledo’s powerful voice. The band, which was founded in 2004, has found its own style, which reminds you of other Power Metal bands, but never too much. Wait until you’ve heard the whole album, especially the final track, and you will know that everything will be possible for THABU.

Pure Steel Records made a contract with THABU, to release their album “Reborn” once again (the first time it was self-released by the band) on their sub-label Pure Prog Records, to make it more accessible to a broader public.
