Though Accept wasn't picked by Glenn (probably too expensive) for this event, it seems that there are some Acceptaholics here like moi. It is nice to know that a band that has been defunct for quite a while still has some loyal fans such as all of you. The Accept Army still seems to be alive and well. Indeed, and on that note I think I shall retire from this board for another year. I'll be back around late january to see what's up with the ProgPower in 2006. Maybe I'll attend that one, maybe I won't. It all depends on who he gets.

Wolf Hoffman wrote some of the coolest riffs ever laid to wax. ACCEPT will always be one of my favorite metal bands for sure. I sure hope they appear on these shores before its all said and done!

When Glenn said in some thread, than Strato wasn't the headliner, i was almost sure than the headliner will be Accept.... (the mystery band?) , but when Glenn lost "the mystery band", Strato becomes headliner... perhaps that mystery band is accept

Accept (with Udo) is one of the most underrated and quietly influential bands in metal. "Balls to the Wall," despite the funny name, is one of the all-time best metal albums IMO. The title track seethes with genuine exasperation and anger (screw you, VH1!).
