Thank you Alice Cooper...

I've got my tickets for Alice + Motorhead + Joan Jett.

Also have tickets for the week before for Heaven & Hell + Lamb of God + Iced Earth

i'm jealous !

i've seen all 3 a bunch of times seperate but, that's a great line up for my musical tastes.

I've never seen Joan Jett.
Motorhead play a run of shows every year around Oct-Nov. You can set your calender by it. I finally decided this was the year I'd go see them and they end up not headlining.
I've seen Alice loads of times. Disapointed the new album was pushed back to next year. This will be the third time I've seen him touring for Dirty Diamonds, so was looking forward to some new stuff.

I had the opportunity to see Alice a few years back. Was a great show and well worth the money!

i agree i'm just tired of 98% of his show being songs from 1971-1975 then 3 off of whatever the new album is and then 3 songs from 1986-2005. i hate he has turned his back on the fans who helped make him famous again in the late 80's/early 90's by not really playing any material from his metal years. only time he really surprised me with his setlist was the brutal planet tour where he played most of brutal planet

Alice plays what most of the fans want to hear. That's just good business.

setlist from the last time i saw him on the eyes of alice cooper tour

August 4th '04 Richmond Innsbrook After Hours, VA
Setlist: Black JuJu (Intro Tape) / Hello Hooray / No More Mr. Nice Guy / Man Of The Year / Billion Dollar Babies / Between High School & Old School / Muscle Of Love / Be My Lover / Who Do You Think We Are? / What Do You Want From Me? / I'm Eighteen / Desperado / Halo Of Flies / Sick Things / Gutter Cat Vs The Jets - Backyard Brawl / Cold Ethyl / Only Women Bleed / Ballad Of Dwight Fry / School's Out / Poison / Under My Wheels / elected

other than eyes which he was touring for, only 2 songs played after 1975. wtf? the last few times before that i saw him at least he played feed my frankenstein and lost in america. most of the crowd there was between 25-45 they wanted the metal, "freeedom", "lock me up", "bed of nails", "feed my frankenstein", "hey stoopid" something from brutal planet or dragontown

So, you're actually saying that the majority of people who go to an Alice Cooper concert want to hear the new stuff?o_O

Don't get me wrong, I own all of Alice's albums, and I love his music from his entire career, but I find it hard to believe that anyone was there to hear Bed Of Nails or Hey Stoopid. Most of the crowd most likely would rather hear the classics!

That actually looks like a pretty damn good set list to me. There's more than two from after '75! Man Of The Year, Between High School And Old School, What Do You Want From Me?, and Backyard Brawl were ALL from The Eyes Of Alice Cooper which was his current album at the time!!!

i said except the songs from his newest album. the best part was "who do you think we are" from special forces. thats a treat. anyways at least 5 guys around me were yelling play hey stoopid. i'm not saying a majority want to hear new stuff but its probably closer to half of the people there wanna hear the stuff between 1986-2002

That would be cool to hear!:kickass:

he needs to bust out something from 1983 dada. nothing has ever been played live from that album. i just got it and its criminally underrated. it starts out with the title track which is probably the most eerie song alice ever recorded but wouldn't be good in concert. he should play "i love america", "scarlett and sheeba" or "pass the gun around"

And...Former Lee Warmer........ SWEET!

I guess it would transfer as well as Halo of flies, or Ballad of Dwight Frye, or Steven, or Sick Things, any of those other whacky tunes?!

i was saying that because basically all the music in former lee warmer is piano or keyboards he hasn't had a keyboard player on tour with him in 4 years

i thought mtv banned it not matter what version they tried to show. if you own the new twisted sister dvd dee says they were told the video was banned and no amount of editing would fix it.

anyways glad alice did that song because until dee talked him into it alice actually wasn't going to perform or record new albums after dada. dee told alice he could fit in the new metal scene
