Thank you Alice Cooper...

i thought mtv banned it not matter what version they tried to show. if you own the new twisted sister dvd dee says they were told the video was banned and no amount of editing would fix it.

anyways glad alice did that song because until dee talked him into it alice actually wasn't going to perform or record new albums after dada. dee told alice he could fit in the new metal scene

Really? I like Dee even more now!:kickass:

yeah i know theres an interview where alice said he was gonna become a family man and stay clean then he saw all these new young bands shock bands(lizzy borden, w.a.s.p.) and dee asked him to do that song and talked him out of retirement. alice had met dee a few years earlier in the late 70's when twisted sister was playing in the ney york area and alice performed there

It got a lot of play in Canada. I was already an Alice Fan at that point, (thanks to my Uncle Tom) and was very excited to see Alice Cooper on Much Music, and then shortly there after seeing the Constrictor album at "A&A Records and Tapes". I couldn't sleep that night. Of course, I was only fifteen.

i have no clue why mtv banned it altogether. on that twisted sister dvd dee snider said he thinks it had to do with the fact the were a metal band and he pissed off the government at the pmrc court debate. he also made it a point to mentionwhile twisted sisters was purely a rave up to zombie movies mtv aired michaels jacksons thtiller video all the time and it was not meant to be a funny joke but actually has someone getting attacked by zombies
