thanks opeth

Well if they don't play The Baying Of The Hounds in Worcester, I'll shit all over their tour bus.

edit: thxlol Doomcifer

hey quit whining, they spent like 2 years out here! just cuz yer a n00b and missed out on them passing through your area 3 times. :loco:

i saw them twice within a 6 month period a few years back.

*checks website*
haha, no dates are even reeeeeemoootely close to nashville. oh well. cryptopsys coming here in a couple weeks.

i just went through my pile o' ticket stubs (in 2003 opeth was in california A LOT), and realized i have been to just one show all freakin' year. opeth is playing in hollywood on 10/11 at one of my favorite venues (house of blues) maybe i'll go to that.

then again, suffocation is playing the same night at house of blues anaheim, which is a lot closer to me.

hmmm, i own 7 opeth cds and no suffocation cds but i'll probably go see them instead. :Spin:

see opeth. no need to see them again. and it's with nevermore, right? again? seen nevermore twice, and while their music is boring and bland, they put on a pretty decent show. a lot more interesting than opeth.

I didn't know stating that I didn't want to see them again, because their show was kinda boring was bashing. Sounds like an opinion to me. You know, that word you're always throwing around....

Blaming a band for not touring is an odd thing to do. They don't schedule their tours. They don't choose how long a tour lasts. They don't decide where they're going to play. I imagine most tours last as long as they are profitable. If you live in Bum Fuck Egypt, and they would only draw 100 people on a Tuesday, you can expect them to hit your city. Also keep in mind, that skyrocketing gas prices are having a serious impact on tours of this scale. I read that it's costing these bands between $500 - $1,000 extra, per week, to tour. For bands whose tours aren't money machines, this could be the difference between making a tour worthwhile or not.

That being said, I'm guessing Opeth will be back after they do Europe.

Ok, allow me to rephrase - Christ, do you EVER take a break from sharing with us your negative opinions about Opeth?
