thanks opeth

That's my opinion and I'm allowed to share it. That's what you're always preaching, after all.

What's being "allowed" to share it have to do with anything? I asked you a simple question since you seem obsessed with sharing your negative opinions about Opeth over and over and over and over again. And apparently the answer is "No, I don't ever take a break from sharing my negative opinions about Opeth."

I don't take a break from sharing any opinions about any band talked about on the forum, just like everyone else. SOmeone made a Behemoth thread, NAD shared his negative opinion. I made a Graveland thread, Josh called Darken a twat. People keep making countless Opeth threads, so I share my opinion about their live show in this thread.

Get over it.

Get over what? I asked you a simple question and again, since you never directly answered it, the inference was that the answer is "No, I don't ever take a break from sharing my negative opinions about Opeth."

Now that that's settled, instead of ignoring them, go right ahead and continue sharing your negative opinions about Opeth whenever they are mentioned. Go right ahead.

J goes out of his way to shit on Opeth every chance he gets. Which is funny, cuz back in 2000/2001, when he came into Soundwaves to buy shit and was listening to them, he was most definitely what you would call a FANBOY.

Now that that skeleton has been aired out. :Smug: You may proceed.

haha i still don't believe that ad is real.

roadrunner is so god damn clueless these days, wtf happened.

man i apologize for single handedly turning this into the opeth forum, both in topic and spirit

it's irritating because portland is one of those "if we have enough time/money" tour stops so it's pretty much a toss up as to whether tours come here and i end up missing a lot of shows as a result...everybody goes to SF and seattle, but i don't have a car or enough time to devote to driving that far. i'm in college, after all.

and i had just found out they aren't coming here when i wrote that, and i was probably high. or drunk. i'm in college, after all.

It spread like wildfire to other forums and people I have never even seen before were arguing that "dude, it's real, I know it is" and so forth. It ranks as one of my finest work

Finally listened to the new Opeth...gotta say, it's better than I expected, particularly after reading the initial lukewarm response from some of the fans. I like the fact that it's "different". Go figure.

Oh yeah, Akerfledt's vocals are on top form IMO. A real standout, once again.

I wouldn't dare share any more of an opinion based on one listen (because I could either learn to love it or hate it down the line) but again, I do like the fact that it's slightly unexpected.

I agree for the most part, solid album but nowhere near their best, and the out of character moments have been what I've been enjoying the most about the album, particularly on Atonement and most of the keyboard-heavy passages...and I've never been bored by Opeth live.
