maybe something like that: eternity is a temporal expression, a quality of time. and it means "not limited" ; and time itself in return is an indefinite term, so it's been there eversince and will be there forever, eternally. so actually they're both the same, just different words, used in different context. we just got used to say:"It takes x minutes of time" instead of "it takes x minutes of eternity".
that brings this question to me: how do we sense time? a process of cause and effect takes place within a certain period of time. if the time-factor wouldn't be there, we wouldn't even know, that a process has already happend (or started to happen), right?
aha. sort of brainstorming...? do you have to write an essay then or just some words and discuss it then? I remember my English classes, we had to write essays then as homework but in some way I also loved that
No, we just write what we think it means and then we discuss it. It's Ok, I guess, but you have to search quite a bit to find something good. I already ahve some, but thought I'd do something other than Carl Sagan next time.
