I am through being nice. It's not that anyone has shit on me; I just suck at it. Try to console Mark and wind up making fun of him. Offer to do someone a favor and come across like a gay stalker. Try to console someone who has cancer and wind up endorsing suicide. Worst part is I'm actually a decent guy in person. If Dan asked, I'd research the civil process end of child support no questions asked. Hell, when my coworker's mother was in the hospital I sincerely offered to go with her for support.
