I haven't even heard of either of them, but I decided to go with the Seagulls.

Humans suck, and Seagull stew ain't so bad.

Its kinda early 80's prog rock isnt it? Not very heavy, kinda pop culturish, theres that pepsi commercial with a seagulls song on it i believe where the guy got the goofy hair. I'll go with seagulls.

Oh shit, I thought you guys would know some of their songs, ha ha,! God, I'm older than I thought!

Flock of Seagulls had one big hit (early eighties), and the chorus goes,

Song "I ran far away"
"and I ran, I ran so far away, and I ran, I ran so far away"

Human League had a couple of hit songs in the early eighties as well,

"Fascination"

"Keep dealing Fascination, fashion wrong but love so strong"

or some shit like that, both of these bands had really bad clothes and really bad hair. Even Poisen looked better

Maybe this explanation will help someone remember

Good God, nothing like feeling older than dirt so early in the morning! I'm with ya on that one augdawg!

Calling them "Prog Rock" is a little too generous, I think. They were like New Wave....total keyboard solos. The only thing they had going on progressively was on top of their heads.

I'd vote for the Human League, though. At least they had depth with harmonies.......I'll shut up now, before I start sounding like a fan or something.

Ooooh, I might recognise this song! By any chance does it have a video of them playing in a rather bland room? They had a clip of it on an advert for a horrible 80s Hits album in America, and I remember thinking that the two women looked really common despite all their makeup, and the big blue guitars looked stupid.
