I remember seeing someone online say Mercyful Fate is the only real satanic metal and I happen to agree. Every other band are posers!.

Right? Sadly, that was before my metal days, and while I thought it was something of a curiosity at the time, it's only in retrospect that I recognize it as the evil omen iy undoubtedly was....
