I heard the new Avantasia. Wasn't very good. Sounded like latter-day Edguy with various vocalists. Kiske's vocals are top notch, however. I like him sans falsetto.

I thought he sounded kinda bland compared to his work on the first two to be honest. Overall I'm disappointed with the EP's and album though. I've been trying to like it but dammit, Tobias needs to tone down his Bon Jovi worship.
