The best way to host music?? Webhosts?

i found many bands rely on mp3.com, but since i never had any material hosted there, i can't tell you of any restrictions... but the site is quite convenient to use and i have seen small bands putting up their whole program of mp3s.

1 byte * 1024 = 1 KB
1 KB * 1024 = 1 MB

1024 * 1024 = approx. 1 million

so what's wrong? and who's the retard? :D

mp3.com sucks.

it sucks because you have to pay.

I need a free host.

Brinkster.com sucked ass, and I wasn't ALLOWED to host mp3's, because people are retards, and they don't know what they are doing.

Here, have some webspace, but don't because you can't because we are retards.

The Search continues.

I guess that since I started hosting there a few years ago,(when it was all free to anyone) that I still get the same deal I've always had... free.

Pretty much any dedicated mp3 site that you put your stuff up on is going to have the 128kb/sec limit. That's just a given. It's so they can conserve some space. Perfectly understandable. With that in mind, here are some others that I know of that,(to the best of my knowledge) are free:

mp3.de (...but it's all in German)
mp3.com.au (no affiliation with mp3.com)
Vitaminic (British mp3 site)
