Vocalist Trevor Strnad comments: "It brings us great pleasure to reveal another track from our latest endeavor, Ritual! Conspiring with the Damned is a quick melodic track about bringing a curse into your life by messing with an Ouija board. The lyrics were informed by a series of stories told to me by a friend who claims to have been tormented and robbed of his innocence at a very young age by a demonic force he had been in contact with. This is one of my favorite tracks from the album, and I think it embodies the horrific vibe of Ritual perfectly. Bang your heads!"

Haven't been this stoked for an album to drop since.....probably their last 2 albums. I don't know why, but these guys have a hold on me. The band before them that had this effect was Lamb of God...untill they put out Sacrament. If Death was still around, I'd have a raging boner over any of their releases as well.

I have mixed feelings about their latest album DEFLORATE there are a few 5/5 songs for me it may be because i stopped listening melodic death metal as much and got into different types of music. I really really liked NOCTURNAL now thats a solid album thats about the time my taste in music started changing. I got into them when MIASMA came out. Something about Zacks drumming in miasma really grew on me. Nocturnal has a tight animated feel i really enojy it. I really liked miasma because of the harmonic minor key the whole album was written in. Ive seen them 3 times live, great performers. I miss the days when i used to get so excited and stoked for them to come play near me or for them to put out a new song/album. I guess as time passes your taste in music starts to change, but thats life. But i will definitely buy this upcoming album

You just can NOT fuck with Miasma. IMO that's their best work.
