The Chronic of Narnia Rap

Well the books are pretty much a kid's series. I read it when I was in elementary school. What did you expect them to gear the movie towards?

Apprently school systems have taken the first book out of the reading list because it promoted christianity or whatever crap. I read that book, I later became an athiest, and I still love that book.

I am really glad that the movie was made for kids. I was worried that they were going to try to gear it more towards an older crowd.

Both it and "King Kong" are great...what a way to end a shockingly good year at the movies (well, the ones I bothered to go see, that is! :) )

I had the books read to me as a child, but don't remember much about them. I was hoping for another lord of the rings type of movie. -j

LOL! Great stuff there. I really enjoyed the movie, as the books were among my favorites as a kid. Can't wait to see what they do with the rest...because they HAVE to do the rest now ;)

Funny that Glenn should post this 'cause I personally saw it and thought "Wow, maybe the best thing since the cowbell sketch."

"68th to broadway! Step on it sucka! What you wanna do, Chris? SNACK ATTACK MOTHAF@#$A!"

The younger dude and two of the new SNL writers (notice how it hasn't sucked lately?) were behind this, and they have some other similar stuff on their website:

The rap track "The Heist" has a similar vibe. "This tea is delicious, whatchoo say it was?" "CAMOMILE MOTHAF&@#A!" "Is it caffeinated cos'?"

i heard the movie was geared towards kids, so i saw king kong instead.

It's geared toward kids, but every knowledgeable adult I know who's seen Narnia has raved about it.

I wanna see it...probably this coming Friday. I'm hoping King Kong will suck away some of the dreaded holiday crush crowd by then. :tickled:
