well, the second Board Mix Trade was much more successful than the first (with a notable exception KLEO706), so I have every hope that this third go-round will be the most successful yet!
here's how it will work: you'll post on this thread your desire to participate. after a week or two i'll take everyone's name who participated and randomly arrange them in a circular-mix pattern. so maybe xfer will send a mix to the_preppy; the_preppy will send a mix to FuSoYa; FuSoYa will send a mix to exciar28; so on and so forth (so you will be receiving a mix from a DIFFERENT person than you sent one to).
if you have any particular reason to want to exclude certain parties, then let me know, and i'll see what i can do. it's a hassle, though, so please don't exclude people based on their posting or whatever. i'm going to exclude Toby from being my recipient or giver, for example, because i see him every week and i would rather mix-trade with people i have less contact with.
once the circle is set up, PM the person who's sending you a mix your address, and get mixing! try to finish the mix within a few weeks. any sort of mix is allowed, not just metal mixes or theme mixes (although those are both welcome). please send a CD, not a tape, unless you communicate with your receptor and check out if a tape's okay first. (some of us don't even have tape players anymore).

in order to make it a little interesting, I'm going to suggest that we all try to include a song that includes a theme or, at the minimum, a lyric about or mentioning "falsity" or "fake-ness" or some other sort of artificiality. in honor of the fake accounts of the board. this isn't an ironclad rule, so feel free to disregard it if you have an awesome mix planned out without such a song.
KLEO706 is banned from participating after screwing goatschool out of a mix in the last go-round. however, kleo, if your situation has changed, IM me or something and maybe something could be worked out. did anyone else not get a mix so i can leave your mixgiver out of the running?
