I was just thinkin'....and I dunno if you ever saw "Cliff 'Em All" and stuff...

... but isn't Cliff Burton the coolest bas player you ever saw? ...

He was not the *best* maybe, but definitely the coolest!

(If you don't know who Cliff Burton is, please find another forum on the internet to participate in .... ;) )

CLIFF BURTON R.I.P.
Cliff were the best and coolest bas player ever.
15 years ago(sep. 26,1986) I were at the "final gig" with Cliff and Metallica and I remember him headbanging from the start to the end of the show.He were even headbanging between the songs.

"When a man lies he murders some part of the the world
These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives
All this I cannot bear to witness any longer, cannot the
kingdom of salvation take me home" Cliff B.

A UK rock journal has seached that among Harris, burton and 2 other great bassists the best, coolest, and the most technical is of course STEVE HARRIS... With his machine-gunery bass and Air Raid Siren Bruce God Dickinson's vocal Maiden beats everybody...

I don't know if he is the coolest but he is one of the best:
Ralph Huppert of Mekong Delta. His playing very progressive bass, plus the fact that Mekong Delta is a low profile group. I think that these specs are enough for me to consider that dude cool.
Joey Vera (ex Armored Saint/Fates Warning) is also cool.

What do you mean by coolest anyway?
