THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: After a week of progressive metal, THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW is determined to fire things back up with some good, ol' fashioned, hard driving Metal. They will do so with a new band by some very familiar faces in the world of the heavy stuff. The Cursed is a brand new band which features Overkill vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth, Hades Guitarist Dan Lorenzo, Non Fiction drummer Mick Cristi and Murder 1 bassist Job The Raver. Their debut release, ROOM FULL OF SINNERS, is a real ass-kicker that doesn't necessarily clone the thrash past of any of these bands, but does a great job at combining the like influences into an album that will remind you more of Down or COC than Overkill or Hades. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for ROOM FULL OF SINNERS, and guitarist Dan Lorenzo will check in to let people know how this band came to be, if it is a real band or a side project, and anything else that comes up.

Additionally, the most frequent guest of THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW returns once again. No, it's not Don Dokken, Jack Frost, Michael Hannon or Nadir D'Priest. To the contrary, it's legendary Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate. Tate will be calling in to discuss the capturing of their majestic OPERATION MINDCRIME I and II tour on CD and DVD in a package called MINDCRIME AT THE MOORE. We'll play a few tracks from MINDCRIME AT THE MOORE, and will chat with the always interesting Geoff Tate about their upcoming touring with Heaven And Hell, what's next for Queensryche, Geoff's upcoming solo album, and whatever else gets discussed.

Finally, we'll check in with Masterplan vocalist Mike DiMeo. DiMeo sang on the last Masterplan release, MKII, and has also paid his Classic Metal dues when he previously fronted the band Riot. He's never been on the show, and we're looking to talk about the past with Mike, as well as introduce many fans to his current work in Masterplan.
