I'm not very familiar with John 5, but I am intrigued by this review. I love old school instrumental-based albums ala Schenker, Montrose, MacAlpine, Satriani, etc.

I like the sound of no wankery, just great instrumental songs and their emotion and structure. I'll keep an eye out for this.
