am i missing anything truely outrageously awesome?

thanks dude, seriuosly :kickass:

It´s called "Cali Diamond Plate".
Joey, what EQ plugin are you using other than the POD Farm built-in? Where do you usually filter (LPF and HPF) the guitars? Congratulations for the album, it sounds massive.

Thanks guys, i think i'll be getting the Platinum version some time soon.
my bank balance isn't great, but i can feel "The Call" ,
and im powerless to resist!

funny enough, it was "The Call" that lead to me buying "With Roots Above...." a few days ago. a sudden urge to march down to the record store after work and buy it.
Im weak

anyway, massive props to Joey for some awesome work on this album, and i must say that its quite inspirational seeing these excelent results coming from a relativly modest studio setup. :kickass: :kickass: :kickass:

well done man.

using pod farm may be modest, but my gear, computer, and my front end is pretty high end. im also using a7's and a central station, so im not really just messing around here. i making a very good living doing what i do =]

thanks for the compliments, as always. im very pleased with how it turned out.
if i could change anything on the record, i'd turn mike down about 1.5 - 2 db, and the guitars would go up 0.5 db

=]

I get ya. :Saint:

I didn't mean to imply that its not a serious setup, more that (from my impression of watching the DVD and listening to the album), its a situation that seems to be within reach for anyone who is willing to put in the work and is serious about their craft, like yourself i suppose. :kickass:

I, personally find it quite inspirational. :)

i dont really do anything to synths
unless it has a really annoying feedback in the higher frequencies (like hiss/static/air)

sometimes i add overdrive. a lot of synths are scooped. overdrive adds mids naturally

I know this is a bit off-topic, but since Joey mentioned it. What's the advantage in having a Presonus Central Station?!

Btw, awesome album joey!

super clean signal path from the D/A chip to your monitors

all the circuitry is passive, so it can't color the sound

unlike similair products which use OP AMPS and other things that make the sound colored going into the monitors
