The DNC

Endorphins flow through my body whenever Bill Clinton talks. It's such a contrast from his Shrew. I would re-elect that man in a second. It's like a joygasm going off in my ear whenever the melodious sound of his voice graces a microphone.

And I think his speech was dead on too.

Just to be clear: DNC stands for Democratic National Circle-Jerk, right?

 It could very well be boob.

Nailz, I hope you're being sarcastic. :hypno:

It like nails on a chalkboard to me... His manerisms are getting more exagerated too. The tongue in cheek thing weirds me out. At least the finger didn't come out to often last night, that thing has a mind of it's own..:lol:

im enjoying it. i sadly wont be old enough to vote this year which was initially a deterrant from caring, but that changed.

im enjoying it, ive thought all the speeches have been well delivered and right on. my cousin is going to be at mile high tonight to see obama's speech.

about bill, haha. i just thought when he said "thanks, but...no thanks" was priceless.

Obama blows and McCain blows, also. The media only pushes two parties which is complete bullshit! I'm voting independent. The Constitution Party candidate is whom I'm voting for. The Chuck Baldwin/Darrell Castle ticket. It's about time we take back our country and prove to the media that there are other political parties!

I don't like either candidate that's running this year. Neither one of them represent my views.

So I'll be voting for the lesser of two evils. And it won't be for the Dumbocrats either. :)

Obama is so not ready to lead...

The convention this week is just a week long party for a bunch of blowhards who lean left. Next week will be just the opposite. Different city, different set of characters, same result.

I've heard this a lot, but I've never heard... why people feel that way.

As far as I know, he was never a military officer (General, Admiral, etc.) in a leadership position. He was never governor of a state. What leadership track record does he actually have? Just being a US senator for a couple of years really doesn't cut it IMHO.

What plan does he have other than he wants "Change". Define change. I want change too, but at least I'd come up with a real solid plan and let people know what I'd change.

Other than him being anti-war and pro-renewable energy (which I agree on both) - I can't see what he really wants to change? I'm not saying I'm a McCain fan, but of the two I'd rather vote for someone who actually has an idea of how to lead a country than just a "pretty boy" image.

The pretty boy from the 90s (Clinton) and the party boy from the 2000s (Bush #2) have really mucked up the country. This country hasn't really seen true leadership since the 80s with Reagan. Bush #1 was OK, but nothing like Reagan.

Ironic, isn't it? The same chuckle-heads who despise politics because of the "media", are the same goofballs that, when asked about a candidate, will spew the same crud that the corporate media serves up. Hey, if Fox news says it's true....it must be true!

CNN abd MSNBC are just as bad - they just lean the other direction. That's why I hate most major (and minor) media outlets. They're biased. Can't someone just report the news, but not have any bias.

I laugh at thoughts that Obama isn't ready. I don't like him. But... I think anybody who has lived in this country is basically ready. The job isn't difficult. You are mostly a symbol. Obama can probably be that symbol far better than most. Sadly, the man is disoriented and has very bad ideas.

You can read all about his solid plan on his website. Though I'm not looking forward to those tax hikes to pay for all of that (not that he'll achieve even 5% of what he wants to do). Top 5% of the country my ass. We'll all get hit with those tax increases to give handouts to everyone which is hardly a solution unless you enjoy people taking even more advantage of the system.

McCain has never been a governor either, though yes he was an officer and retired as a captain. The next president will be the first time a senator is elected since JFK I believe.

I'm sure the experience factor was a major reason that Obama selected Biden as his running mate.
