Rush is going to be playing there too. Looks like a cool venue.

I do need to hear their new album. I'm a fan of their older stuff.

Never did care for classic rock. The Eagles are very versitale and great at what they do, I just find classic rock to be lacking. Funny thing though, I love Don Henley's solo work, go figure.

so what you're saying is that the Eagles are not your 'cup of tea'? :Smug:

ha, yeah. I mean if they come on the radio (which I don't listen to) but if they did, I would listen and change the channel, and maybe even like it ok. But I wouldn't buy a CD or pay to go to a concert. But again I am in the vast minority, I feel the same way about the other big reunion LZ.

I've seen them live once during the Hell Freezes Over Tour. They were amazing and made me a fan that night. Rent the DVD from that tour and your mind might be changed about them.

I saw them a few years ago on one of their farewell tours. Very good show. Tickets cost a ton though. Probably the most expensive tickets I have ever bought. I truly hope the tickets this time around are a bit more reasonably priced. It is almost a given that the best seats will be over $100. How much over will be the question. At the concert I went to, they also played stuff from their solo and other group careers (Frey, Henley, Walsh and James Gang). Some people in the crowd did not like that. I didn't mind it as long as they only played their hits from those respective outfits. Maybe this time they will stick to just Eagles stuff, but I kinda doubt it. They did play for about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hours long.

Way to go, Billy! We are in the same boat on this topic!:kickass:
