i used to dislike the gathering, but they've been growing on me for a while now

where i used to find anneke's voice annoying i now find it pleasant and soothing. her voice sounds more natural and less strained than cristina's, to me anyway.

Someone yousendit some of the best The Gathering stuff. I have only heard a few of their songs over the years and none of them have grabbed me.

That said, the new LC isn't so great. The last one was a big step down from Unleashed Memories, and then this one was the next step, off the ledge.

My point, LC is going for the cash in...they're the biggest band ever out of italia and they feel the heat culturally and label-wise...visually for several years now they've been cultivating this nu metal look (thk you CM you suck)

Ah, typical 'The Gathering' talk. Nobody seems to agree what's their best one. I'm with Zod; the stuff I've heard bored me. But, it was only a couple songs from who knows what album. So, somebody gimme some mp3s so I can give them a real chance.

On the shaggability part, Cristina wins by a landslide.

i couldnt get in to Souvenirs. very boring. but nighttime birds and mandylion are prety good. Strange Machines is a good song.
