I'm so pissed that this gig fell apart with Mortuary Drape cancelling their US tour and then Negative Plane also dropped off the bill. Disma was announced the replacement.

went to this show tonight ... i'll write something up tomorrow.
not the success or mood I was hoping for but it had its moments.
- waited 2 hours outside the venue ... was told show starts 7pm sharp ... got in at 9
- show started literally 5 minutes after letting everyone in so no chance to even get a slight buzz off a beer
- small stage ... a lot of performers with a "thorne" setup in the back of the stage for Tucker to seemingly hang out and look royal
- Nader Sadek himself was also at the rear as a sort of "conductor" and "making some rat meals" ... I will upload a video of this later on
- Tucker was wearing a wig as a prop that came off one time and took awhile to adjust. considering they were filming the gig for a future release, this could be an interesting edit.
- Flo was setup on the floor literally almost part of the audience facing the band on stage ... that was pretty awesome as he fucking slayed.
- some amigo thrashers got on stage a few times and wanted to dive ... however the drummer was in the way ... funny stuff ensued.
- musically ... fuck me ... the entire band was on 10 ... just flawless professionalism. seriously brutal mix
- visually ... total let down for me at least ... i was expecting A LOT more ... either this was not thought out very well or there were last minute changes that needed to be made that in all honesty made everything seem pretty novice.
- there was a kickass old lady opera style singer that made random appearances during songs ... she was pretty damn creepy and looked like she can kick everyone's ass on stage and in attendance.
- show was over less than an hour after we were let in. I think with some sort of warm up band and buildup to their performance I would have enjoyed it more ... but the music is still A +++ ... I just hope this band keeps going and drops the needless visual schtick (OR really puts some serious effort into that as well)
