He will trade new cds for used ones, or offers $3 each for bulk cds. 20 cds, I'd think you could grab at least 5 new albums from his store for them. I've dealt with him several times and he's just an all around good guy, and shipping a big lot media mail is much less of a pain in the ass than 10 different packages.

Sucks trying to get some of this older stuff and trying to stay under 10$ gross per CD.

Most classics that are still in print hit that ten dollar mark usually. It's those out of print oddballs that you happen to love that hurts your wallet.

It helps if you don't think you need first presses of everything though. (And it seems you don't)

No I'm not trying to "collect" them. Utilizing the cloud makes using music of dubious origins more risky, so I'm buying the stuff I really like, and I like enough out of print oddballs that it's going to take a while. A lot of them can be purchased for digital download cheaply, but I prefer to own the physical media to have in storage, just in case whoever/wherever I were to download from were to change their licensing agreements, lose records, etc.

I'm still waiting to catch a physical copy of Invocator - Weave the Apocalypse for south of $50.

Is that how much Invocator is selling for? I got it for about half that from audiophileguy..

I asked for either/or and he offered me 60 for the whole lot even though he is overstocked on inventory.

Sounds about right. He'll usually do $3 each or 4 for 1 trades for new albums. I've been in contact with him on and off for years now though.
